Setting up your CRM Sync

Integrate existing customer and prospect contact lists to your Axios HQ audience

Axios HQ invites you to bring in your audience in a few different ways: manually add individuals one-by-one, upload a CSV of recipients’ emails and names, or connect your existing directories and have them sync automatically!

Why it matters

  • Setting up a CRM sync allows you to connect your current customer and prospect distribution lists and sync them to Axios HQ.
  • As your lists change you won’t have to worry about updating your audience to match in Axios HQ. Updates will sync automatically!

1. Supporting your CRM

We currently directly integrate with Hubspot and Salesforce.

Additional CRMs may be synced via SFTP connection. Learn more about our SFTP capabilities here.

 


 

2. Hubspot & Salesforce setup options 

Hubspot and Salesforce connections are not currently available within the platform. Reach out to your account manager or help@axioshq.com if you would like to integrate with either of these CRM providers.

How your Hubspot and Salesforce recipients will sync

Axios HQ can bring your recipients into the platform in one of the following configurations, where recipients will sync to HQ:

  • As individuals, unaffiliated with a group (All Contacts)
  • In segments based on the company they are part of (All Companies)
  • In segments based on their industry (All Industries)
  • In segments based on your custom lists, developed in your CRM (All Contact Lists)

Once these groups are synced to the platform, you can leverage any of the available segments or individuals you’d like in order to craft your audience! Let us know how you’d like to organize your contacts and we’ll be sure to set up your sync accordingly.



3. SFTP setup options

Generic CRM connections can be completed within the platform. 

  • Navigate to “Settings” > “Integrations”. Then, locate "Directory Sync" and click “Connect.”
  • You will be taken to a setup portal provided by WorkOS, where you can select the "SFTP" option.

📖 Sending

Can I still send from HQ before setting up a CRM sync?

Yes! You can still send from HQ before connecting to your CRM. You can manually add recipients by navigating to "Series" > "Audience" and either:

  • Upload a CSV of multiple individuals by clicking on "Manage recipients" and selecting "Import CSV" 
  • Individually add new recipients by clicking on "Add individuals"   

📖 Syncing

Will you support other CRM connections?

Axios HQ aims to support your team in the best way we can: if you have a CRM we don't currently support, leave us some feedback here

If your team isn't currently leveraging Hubspot or Salesforce, we recommend moving forward with an SFTP connection

Does HQ support two-way CRM sync? 

No, not at this time. We only support one-way CRM sync – from your CRM into Axios HQ.

Can we sync our directory and CRM? 

Yes, you can have both connected. Reach out to your account manager or help@axioshq.com to set up both a directory and CRM sync.

How often will syncs be performed?

Hubspot and Salesforce will update once every 24 hours. An SFTP connection's cadence will be determined by your IT team, during the setup process.

📖 Access

Who can access my organization's synced CRM?

Only Owners, Admins, and Members with granted permission can access your synced CRM. Permissions in the platform are currently managed alongside our directory sync integration. Give HQ collaborators access to the CRM connection by giving them directory sync access.

Can I restrict access to certain synced CRM groups?

Within Axios HQ, users either have access to the synced directory or they do not; at the moment, our platform does not support restricting user access to specific directory groups.
