Utilize Slack integration to share editions

Boost engagement with distribution to Slack – meeting readers where they are.

Distribute updates from Axios HQ to Slack with our integration available to Premium users. Simply send your HQ emails as usual, and then share them to Slack channels instantly to meet your team where they are.

Connecting to Slack

💡How it works:

  1. If you are an Axios HQ Owner or Admin within a Premium org, navigate to Settings > Integrations, and click “Connect” on Slack:
  2. It will redirect to a page where the user must allow Axios HQ access to their Slack workspace. At some orgs, the user will need to request admin approval from this page to continue.
  3. Once connected, the user is redirected back to "Integrations" and should see Slack under their “Connected Apps”:

Sharing to Slack

Org owners and admins, and series senders can share sent editions to Slack.

There are three ways to share to Slack:

  1. Right after sending an edition
  2. Via the three-dot menu on the Sent tab
  3. Via sent edition view

💡How it works:

1. Share right after sending an edition by selecting ‘Share to Slack’ from the send confirmation pop-up.

2. Share via the three-dot menu on the Sent tab.

3. Share via sent edition view.

4. Once ‘Share to Slack’ is selected a modal will open where users can select multiple public channels to share to.
  • Orgs that have not opted out of AI features can generate a Smart Brevitized summary of their edition by clicking “Generate summary” (this may take up to 20 seconds).
  • Users can edit the message that will be posted within the preview.

5. Select ‘Share to Slack’ to post the message as Axios HQ to the selected public channels. Readers can opt to read the full edition on the web by clicking ‘Click to read.’
