Utilize Microsoft Teams integration to share editions

Boost engagement with distribution to Teams — meeting readers where they are.

Distribute updates from Axios HQ to Microsoft Teams with the new integration feature. Simply send your emails as usual, and then effortlessly share them to Microsoft Teams channels instantly to meet your team where they are.

💡How it works:

  1. If you are an Axios HQ Owner or Admin within a Premium org, navigate to Settings > Integrations, and click “Connect” on Microsoft Teams:
  2. Now, after sending an edition, you’ll see the option to “Share to Microsoft Teams”.

This option will also be available when viewing a sent edition and via the three-dot menu on the Sent tab:
Axios HQ - Editor 2023-12-14 at 11.22.50 AM
Axios HQ - Editor 2023-12-14 at 11.27.41 AM
Axios HQ - Workspace 2023-12-14 at 11.31.52 AM
  3. Once you click “Share to Microsoft Teams”, you can preview the message for your post.

If your org has not opted out of HQ’s AI features, you can click “Generate summary” to generate a Smart Brevitized summary of your edition:Axios HQ - Workspace 2023-12-14 at 11.33.47 AM (1)
Note: This may take up to 20 seconds.

  4. After generating a summary, click “Copy” to copy this summary to your clipboard:Axios HQ - Workspace 2023-12-14 at 11.36.48 AM (1)
  5. Once you’ve copied the summary, click “Next →” to launch Microsoft Teams:
    Axios HQ - Workspace 2023-12-14 at 11.38.25 AM (1)
Note: If you are not logged into Microsoft Teams on your browser, you will be asked to log in to continue.

  6. A Microsoft Teams pop up should appear. Here, you can select where in Microsoft Teams you’d like to share your communication:
Microsoft Teams 2023-12-14 at 11.40.53 AM
Microsoft Teams 2023-12-14 at 11.45.33 AM
  7. Next, paste the summary you generated in Axios HQ above the link to your comms. You can also edit the message if you’d like. After, click “Share” to share it to Microsoft Teams:
