Using Calendar to plan your communications

The Calendar is an easy way to view, edit, send, and analyze your comms all in one place — no more hopping between external calendar tools and your Axios HQ workspace. You can view any edition or one-off that has a target or scheduled send date.

1. View all comms with a target send date or scheduled send date

Your calendar view is determined by your permissions and is mirrored from your access in the workspace.

  • Admins and owners can view all series in the workspace, this includes all editions and one-offs.
  • Members can view their own series and one-offs and any that they are a collaborator in.

2. Create a new edition or one-off

The Calendar  allows you to create a series edition or one-off from the calendar.

  • Navigate to the “Create” button in the top right corner.
  • Select your target send date, edition type, series (if applicable), enter your subject line, and choose to create from a template or blank edition.
  • Alternatively, you can create an edition for a future date by double clicking the desired send date on your calendar and going through the same “Create” flow.

3. Change the target or scheduled send date and edit the existing draft

Select the edition or one-off from your Calendar view to edit the target/scheduled send date, view and continue editing the draft, or delete the draft completely.

4. View sent editions, analytics reports, and copy edition links

With Calendar you can also view all sent editions, pull up analytics reports, and copy edition links.

5. FAQs

Who can see what’s on the calendar?

The calendar is a workspace alternative, and mirrors the same level of access as your workspace. If you are an owner or admin you will have access to all series and all one-offs. If you are a member, you will only be able to view and manage series and one-offs where you are a collaborator.

Who can manage the calendar?

Same as the workspace. Admins and owners can do anything to any edition, while members have to be part of the series and ,depending if they are a sender or a writer, certain restrictions will apply. Senders can schedule or reschedule an edition to auto-send and writers can only apply a target send date but not schedule an edition to auto-send.

How do I get items on the calendar?

For drafts, if you add a target send date or scheduled an auto-send they will show up on the calendar. Editions that have been sent will also automatically appear on the calendar.

What if I have multi-orgs, can I see everything across orgs?

No, Calendar is per org and doesn't have access beyond the current org.

Will we be able to share editions to Slack / Teams from Calendar view?

Not at launch, but will be a follow up feature enhancement.
